Harley DeWinter is a Los Angeles based drummer available for touring and studio work.
Surrounded by music from a young age, especially thanks to longtime family friend Rikki Rockett (Poison), it's no wonder Harley was constantly making beats on desks, tables, and his chest. He started playing drums at the age of 10 in his elementary school percussion ensemble and on the full kit at home. By middle school, Harley was playing concert percussion in the orchestra as well as playing drum set for jazz band.
Moving into the high school years, Harley was accepted into the prestigious Orange County School of the Arts Commercial Music program, directed by Jon Kubis (Dancing With The Stars). It was at OCSA that Harley refined his skills for performing and recording. While working through theory, programming, performance, recording, and music business classes, he also held the responsibility of drummer for OCSA's premier performing group MONTAGE!. The group consisted of singers, dancers, a 6-piece band, and occasionally a full orchestra. It was with MONTAGE! that Harley developed his work ethic, sight-reading, and stylistic diversity. The group performed frequently at events such as OCSA's Gala Fundraiser, the South Coast Plaza Treelighting, as well as many private functions.
Upon graduating in 2015, Harley was honored with many opportunities at further education, including acceptances from Berklee College of Music, Azusa Pacific University, and Belmont University. He chose to continue his education at Goldenwest College with a focus in Digital Media and Digital Audio, keeping his opportunities open to work as a full-time musician.
All the while through middle and high school, Harley formed and marketed his own OC Music Award winning group, UnDVided (later called My Mechanical Heart in 2016), performed with SIREN for their 2013-2014 appearances including Rocklahoma 2014, and worked with A+ Dropouts for their 2015 shows, including several weeks on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour. In 2016, Harley also jumped on the Saint Motel "Saintmotelevision" tour to assist supporting act Weathers with fill-in drum duties for multiple shows.
Nearing the end of 2016, Harley began working as the touring drummer for Knee High Fox, touring as direct support for Powerman 5000 in the Winter and Fall of 2017, eventually becoming a full time member of the group.
In 2018, Harley started to work as touring drummer and musical director for Eleven Seven Music label artist Diamante.
Harley can also be seen with Disneyland performing artist Tomasina on various occasions.
